The Elephant’s Girl releases two months from tomorrow! As you can see from this awesome graphic, created by Peter Lopez at My LZ Design, The Elephant’s Girl will be available in hardback, e-book, and audiobook formats! With the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the publishing world has changed right along with the rest of the world, and book events and conferences are getting cancelled. And if that hasn’t been disorienting enough, we even had a 5.7 magnitude earthquake in Utah this morning! I don’t know what the next few months will bring, but books are still being published and we need stories now more than ever! I hope to be able to connect with many of you online, if not in person, because we also need connection and a little magic, which is what The Elephant’s Girl is all about!

The Elephant’s Girl is the story of Lexington Willow, an orphan found asleep next to an African elephant in a zoo following a severe tornado. Lex grows up in the zoo, cared for by her foster father Roger, where she has a special connection with the elephant who saved her life. This story has something for everyone: adventure, mystery, danger, friendship, finding family, animals, ghosts, Thai food, and even baseball. If you haven’t already pre-ordered the book, now is your chance! The pre-order link is on the home page of my website. Hang onto your receipts because I’ll be announcing pre-order gifts and an elephant-themed grand prize to a lucky winner soon! Stay safe and healthy out there, and read lots of books!
